On 26-28 March 2025 Professors Leighton and Voegeli attended the 35th Conference of the European Wound Management Association (EWMA) in Barcelona, Spain.
EWMA is a not-for-profit organization focused on advancing wound care across Europe. It acts as an umbrella organization, connecting national wound management groups, individuals, and various organizations interested in wound management. EWMA works to improve data collection, evidence quality, knowledge implementation, and education in wound management.
This year, the conference was held in collaboration with GNEAUPP, the Spanish Advisory Group for the Study of Pressure Ulcers and Chronic Wounds, and in collaboration with SEHER, the Spanish Wounds Society.
