Professor Leighton was invited to teach on therapeutic ultrasound at University of Grenoble Winter School, which was held from 9-14 March 2025.
The venue was Les Houches School of Physics, which is located in the French Alps, near Chamonix, a village in the French Alps, near Mont Blanc.
The School is aimed at giving PhD students and researchers from around the world exposure to world-leading lecturers in topics ranging from the underlying physics and biophysics of ultrasound designed to treat and heal, to the use of these techniques in experiments in better understanding current clinical techniques or helping to design future clinical techniques, to the application of existing techniques by today’s clinicians.
